#Does ChatLiner provide a secure HTTP or FTP connection?
ChatLiner does not encrypt the connection between client and server (as is the case with HTTPS or SFTP), because it is not necessary.
The application encrypts files, text messages, and voice messages on the client side before sending them, making them unreadable to everyone except those for whom they are intended.
This precludes the possibility of hacking and disclosure of the content of a message or file, even if it is intercepted.
And that is why ChatLiner is considered software that utilizes "end-to-end" encryption in the true sense of the word.
#When the message is on its way from the sender to the recipient
ChatLiner is an ultra-fast, ad-free messaging app with end-to-end encryption that ensures secure communication and sharing of confidential files and information between its users.
ChatLiner guarantees that the content of your encrypted messages cannot be decrypted and read by anyone other than the intended recipient.
As soon as the message is encrypted using the recipient's public key on the sender's side, it is sent to a remote database server that works in conjunction with ChatLiner and acts as an intermediary between the two interlocutors.
The message cannot be decrypted on this server (or any other server), so it will be left intact and forwarded to the recipient as such.
The content of the message or file being sent will be revealed using the recipient's private key when it reaches its destination, with no chance of anyone decrypting it at any point before.

#Why is Chatliner only available to run on computers but not on mobile devices?
We cannot guarantee privacy, nor can we guarantee that our data protection algorithms will not be "hacked" and compromised if used on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.
Likewise, we cannot guarantee that the private key will actually remain private and not end up stored in some remote location without anyone's knowledge or prior approval.
ChatLiner's ultimate goal is to protect user data, user privacy, and content shared online with functional end-to-end encryption.
It would be irresponsible of us to go public with solutions that we know in advance cannot help achieve this goal.
There are devices that do not meet the requirements for secure messaging and we will not address them until further notice.

Save the file as a "batch" script with the extension .BAT. You can name it "installer.bat", for example, or you can give it any other name.
The saved batch file is the ChatLiner application installation file.

Double-click the saved file and wait a few seconds for the installation to begin. You will also need to accept the terms of use of this software (the so-called License Agreement).

After the installation is complete, you will be able to launch ChatLiner and start using it right away.

Sending text and audio messages through ChatLiner is free of charge. You can send an unlimited number of messages.
File sharing through ChatLiner costs $100 per year.
You can send an unlimited number of files. A 30-50% discount is possible in case of multiple user registrations.
Payment via PayPal is recommended.
If you want to make the payment in another way, please contact us so that we can send you the necessary instructions.
Once the payment is completed, you will receive a PIN code that you should keep secret. The PIN code is for your personal and private use only.
There are no additional costs or hidden fees.
#Your privacy remains guaranteed
The data entered during payment have nothing to do with the use of the app itself.
To use ChatLiner, you need to choose a unique username and generate a pair of crypto keys, while each individual user is assigned a digital ID card for identity verification.
You will never be asked for any sensitive or personal information and this is a policy that ChatLiner will always adhere to.
